E’ iniziato il count down per il grande concerto voluto da Niccolò Fabi che si svolgerà lunedì 30 agosto a Casale sul Treja, nel comune di Mazzano Romano a partire dalle ore 15. L’evento si preannuncia come una grande festa in musica non solo per ricordare Olivia, la figlia del cantante morta due mesi fa per una sepsi meningococcica fulminante, ma per raccogliere fondi per la costruzione di un reparto pediatrico all’ospedale di Chiulo in Angola. Tanti i musicisti che hanno accolto l’invito di Fabi: sul sito della manifestazione “Parole di Lulù″, si leggono i nomi dei cantanti che saliranno sul palco per sostenere la causa di Medici con l’Africa CUAMM. Tra questi Alex Britti, Daniele Silvestri, Elisa, Fiorella Mannoia, Gianni Morandi, Lorenzo Jovanotti, Max Gazzè, Paula Turci, Samuele Bersani e tanti altri.
Il concerto, al quale è possibile partecipare gratuitamente, è stato accolto con molto entusiasmo dai fans di Niccolò Fabi che continuano a lasciare messaggi sul suo profilo Facebook. “Un’iniziativa troppo bella non si può mancare…saremo con te nel ricordo della tua piccola LULU’”, scrive un suo fan.

Niccolò Fabi ha chiamato a raccolta gli amici musicisti per un grande concerto per ricordare la figlia Olivia,morta il 4 luglio di meningite. La piccola il 30 agosto prossimo avrebbe compiuto 2 anni. Il concerto è in programma il 30 agosto dalle ore 15 al Casale sul Treja vicino Roma.

Tuscan pop star Jovanotti, aka Lorenzo Cherubini, first emerged on the Italian scene as a rapper back in the late ’80s, but since then he has also explored rock, funk, and even classical and world music. His 2009 album Oyeah, a collection of live performances in New York last summer with his band Soleluna, shows off the performer’s affinity for big, live jams. On “Adagio,” Jovanotti adapts his singsong mic style to a fiery samba, passionately delivering Italian rhymes over a driving Latin beat.
While Italian hip-hop may initially seem as intuitive as Scottish opera, a quick check of YouTube reveals Jovanotti’s music as an infectiously unpretentious blend of pop and African beats that will have SummerStage rocking this Saturday night.

Los Amigos Invisibles, originally from Venezuela, can always get a party started with their dance-inducing fusion of funk, disco and acid jazz. New York, 30 luglio 2010 - Domani Lorenzo Jovanotti salirà sul ‘Central Park Summer Stage’ come headliner di un sabato dedicato alla nuova musica dal mondo. Prima di lui si esibiranno i ‘Los Amigos Invisibles’, la più celebre band venezuelana e Natalia Lauforcade, superstar messicana.

Nei giorni precedenti al concerto del Central Park, Jovanotti e la sua band con musicisti italiani, americani e brasiliani hanno suonato nella ‘Viper Room’ di Hollywood (il locale di proprietà di Johnny Depp), al festival di Santa Monica e allo Stern Grove Festival di San Francisco di fronte a 8000 persone.
