Leandro Manuel Emede da anni collabora con major discografiche curando la regia di videoclips, backstages e cover. Le sue foto sono state pubblicate su VANITY FAIR, COSMOPOLITAN, A, JOBBER, Bmag, Wallpaper e altre ancora. Realizza campagne stampa per brand come MOMA e Premiata.
Dal 2006 è responsabile video de La Sterpaia, centro di Comunicazione delle Arti applicate, ispirato al metodo del Bahuaus, fondato e diretto da Oliviero Toscani; segue la regia di spot tv per INTER, SNAI, Genertel gruppo Generali, MAVI JEANS, No-L-Ita, e tanti altri. Di recente, Emede ha firmato la regia di WART: mix fra WAR e ART, su un concept del Maestro Toscani. Un video che mette in parallelo la tragedia rappresentata dai grandi quadri della storia dell’arte e quella trasmessa dalla tv, e ANOREXIA. Storia di un’immagine, film che ripercorre in modo soggettivo la storia dell’immagine scattata da Oliviero Toscani, che divise la società e diede vita a un punto di vista nuovo sull’anoressia. Questi due film, che sono stati presentati al Locarno Film Festival in Europe Premiere e al Miami International Film Festival come International Premiere, e sono stati in concorso per il David di Donatello rispettivamente nella categoria CORTOMETRAGGI (WART) e DOCUMENTARI (ANOREXIA. Storia di un’immagine).

Zelig 2010 ha chiuso i battenti con un inedito del ‘maestro’ Checco Zalone. Il comico pugliese è tornato ad ‘omaggiare’ una sua vecchia conoscenza, Jovanotti, e questa volta ad essere presa di mira è stata Baciami Ancora, canzone composta per la colonna sonora dell’omonimo film di Gabriele Muccino.
